Gray Gaulding and his No. 08 Chevrolet team are set to return to racing action this weekend, as the NASCAR Xfinity Series storm into Texas Motor Speedway. Saturday will mark Gaulding’s third career visit to Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In his previous two starts in Fort Worth, Gaulding has an average finish of 27th place. Despite his lack of Xfinity experience, Gaulding also has three starts in the Monster Energy Cup Series at Texas Motor Speedway with a best finish of 20th in 2018.
Crew Chief Patrick Donahue will return chassis 708 to competition this weekend. Chassis 708 was previously raced a few weeks ago at Kansas Speedway, where Gaulding finished in the 17th position.
