Chassis Facts: Denike has brought chassis 065 as the primary for this weekend’s Visit Hampton 175 at Langley Speedway. This is the same chassis Gaulding raced to a second place finish at Greenville Pickens and fifth place finish at Bowman Gray Stadium.
From the Driver’s Seat with Gray Gaulding: “Langley has always been one of my favorite tracks, we have had some success over the years and I would love to go to victory lane with the K&N East series here. It’s close to all my friends and family in Virginia and just a lot of fun to race at. It has characteristics unlike any other track we race at, you never get straight and it has just enough banking to make for some good racing on restarts.”
On top of Box with Crew Chief Charles Denike: “This is one of my favorite races of the year since it is at our home track. We have a lot of experience at Langley Speedway and both Precision Performance Motorsports and Gray have run well there in the past. Gray and I worked together at the Hampton Heat 200 Late Model Stock Car race here last year and I think that experience, along with our strong runs this year together and our team’s history at this track gives us a great opportunity to contend for the win in the Visit Hampton 175 this weekend.”
