Kernersville, NC (July 16th, 2014) Gray Gaulding and Precision Performance Motorsports partner up for the annual Hampton Heat at Langley Speedway. Virginia native Gaulding will pilot the No.20 Krispy Kreme Doughnuts / B&C Seafood Chevrolet out of Yorktown, Virginia’s Precision Performance Motorsports. Gaulding will race alongside fellow NASCAR K&N Pro Series competitor Brandon Gdovic who will pilot the No. 46 American Messaging / WindStax Chevrolet.

Gray Gaulding who races full time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series as well as a partial NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule will find a way to fit in the action packed Hampton Heat. Gaulding will be competing in three races in seven day starting will the JEGS 150 at Columbus Motor Speedway in the K&N Pro Series car, followed by the second annual 1800CarCash Mudsummer Classic on Wednesday at Eldora Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and cap off the week with the Hampton Heat at Langley Speedway in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series car.

Gaulding has a long line of history at Langley Speedway in his short stock car racing career. Gaulding is most famously well known for stating “a man’s gotta do, what a man’s gotta do” at the bright young age of 12 competing full time in the INEX Legends Car series.

From the Driver’s Seat with Gray Gaulding: “I’m exited to partner with Rick Gdovic and  Precision Performance Motorsports for the Hampton Heat. We compete against each other each week in the K&N Pro Series and I have watched what Rick and Charles Denike have done with that program and it’s impressive. They have a competitive late model program and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

Gray how do you think your past experience at Langley will help you in the Hampton Heat? “Langley is Langley it doesn’t matter what kind of vehicle you are in but these NASCAR late models are completely different. We have a long day of testing on Friday and Charles has a lot of experience with them so I’m fully confident we will be right on Saturday night.”

On top the Box with Crew Chief Charles Denike: “We are really excited to have Gray join Precision Performance Motorsports for the Hampton Heat. He is a very talented driver and I am looking forward to working with him. He has a big week planned with three races in three different series. Hopefully we can help him win three in a row.”

A word from Langley Speedway’s Bill Mullis: “We are really excited that Gray Gaulding is coming to Langley Speedway to compete in the Hampton Heat.  Gray is a member of the select NASCAR Next program for aspiring young drivers who show great promise for the future of NASCAR. I have been following Gray since 2010 when he won the Legend National Championship racing at Langley Speedway. We also appreciate that Rick Gdovic with Precision Performance Motorsports contacted Gray and is willing to field a race car for him to compete in our biggest event of the race season.”
