Gaulding goes PINK at Martinsville: Gaulding will be running a special pink paint scheme at Martinsville Speedway in honor of breast cancer awareness month. Gaulding’s grandmother, “Grandma Gloria” is a fourteen year survivor. Gaulding will run the names of the family and friends close to the NTS Motorsports teams who have been diagnosed, are currently battling, or are survivors on his truck this weekend.

Gray Gaulding returns to the track described as ‘the paperclip’. Gray Gaulding made his NCWTS debut at Martinsville Speedway in the spring of 2014, where he started 11th and finished 19th and has since made seven starts adding one Top-5 finish.

Meet Gray at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, October 26th at 11:15 at the Team Chevrolet Stage located in the fan zone and from 12:00pm – 12:45pm at the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts mobile store located just outside turn four.

Gaulding and Crew Chief, Chris Rice feel right at home in the state of Virginia. This is the fifth time Gaulding has raced in his home state of Virginia in 2014, posting a top-5 finish in his last race in the state at the Virginia International Raceway in the NASAR K&N Pro Series East on August 16th.  Rice is from nearby South Boston and has grown up racing at Martinsville Speedway with his dad and uncle over the past thirty years.

From the Driver’s Seat with Gray Gaulding: “I’m looking forward to getting back racing in the truck series, it has been a little over a month since I last raced at New Hampshire and Chris Rice and myself have been working hard on a game plan for this weekend.”

On top of Box with Crew Chief Chris Rice: “Saturday’s Kroger 200 is a short race, only 105 miles long, but a lot can happen in 200 laps around Martinsville Speedway. The most important thing to remember is the brakes, as they can be your best friend and your worst enemy. You have to take good care of the brakes. Second is keeping all four corners on the truck.  Restarts get crazy, so staying calm, cool and collected can be the difference in victory lane and your day ending too early.”

Chassis Facts: Chris Rice has choose chassis NTS-16 for this weekend’s Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway.
